Donate Via Your IRA
IRA Distributions and Charitable Donations: People aged 70 1/2 or older can contribute up to $100,000 from their IRA directly to a charity and avoid paying income taxes on the distribution. This is known as a qualified charitable distribution. Normally, distributions from a traditional retirement arrangement (IRA) are taxable when received. With a Qualified Charitable Deduction, however, these distributions become tax-free as long as they’re paid directly from the IRA to an eligible charitable organization.
Donate Via the Combined Federal Campaign
The MC-LEF Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is #10507.
