Pete Haas was an extraordinary man – husband, father, Korean War Veteran, Sergeant Major -  Marine.  He helped create MCLEF and has faithfully served it ever since.  The families he has helped and lives he has touched cannot begin to be counted.  Pete is the heart of MCLEF and we will forever be at a loss without him.  A memorial scholarship to honor his life of service and carryon his legacy has been established:
